Good try dude.

Look, you just can't do a metal song without drums. There are samples out there, if nothing else, put them in audacity, it'd be a pain in the ass, but you NEED drums to do metal.
I'd know, check my channel of you wish.
All in all, good luck, and get drums. :)

I agree with pheonix, acutally.

I hate this vocal style. Even I can sound exactly like you, and its a damn good thing that it isn't my only voice.

As for the lyrics, vocal progressions and chords, Seth did a great job.

Sorry Russ, but this just isn't my thing.

Nice.

I migrated over to this song after Run to Japan.....

I enjoy it a lot. I actually do want to go to Japan.
Being tall and white somehow, I think I'll be out of the average.

Here we go.

Man I so psyched to finally here something you did.

And this is beyond awesome. Its pretty, it sounds like exploration, coaxing someone through an unknown area or some shit. It's beckoning.

And you got 16 tracks to play with. 3 and a half minutes is a bit late to really change it up the first time.....

I hope you add a ton of harmonies or something to the finished product to make it more interesting. The quality is great, I just want more! Its not length its changes, we have some way longer songs.... but some more stuff changing...........

8/10
5/5 Yes it makes sense in my head.

AllByMyLonesome responds:

thanks man..and it kinda tells a story, so when it changes it makes sense to me to have it that late, and with the other tracks it's gonna sound completely differentt..so yeah..thankz

Ew...

Gross.... no musical value anywhere. Were you throwing up? Jeez, I like metal, but this is overkill.

Next time, spend some time on it. Get a different singer, turn him up. Use better drum samples, don't place the drum beats so close together, it sounds REALLY bad.

OMG I'M PEWPENG!

Eh,

Nothing wrong, but you should have added more instruments faster. It felt kind of starved. FL doesn't have the best Drum samples use others in the future (I'm sure you do though.)
Overall, its pretty good background music. However, its not a good song, in an entertaining way.

Wow, nice

Actually, I liked the keyboard. Can't always win. It was good. I know you tried to blend metal in, and you had the drums, but the guitar is the backbone of metal, and it just wasn't there. Even so. You get an 8 for great composition, and not getting off scale, and all that. Its a good song, but I don't really think its Ipod worthy, on my list. Keep goin!!

Chunky sound!

Good mosh stuff dude! I like your stuff. You should check out some of my stuff, the stuff labeled 'Rising Chaos:' is the heavy stuff. (With 1 exception of course) but it's all good. ;)

Well, all songs are just riffs.

Similarity and transitions are what make it flow, and since you have that, you are good. I agree with Jonus down there, much more, reverb, hall and/or delay would've been good. However inside the riffs themselves. Not too much flowing, some of them seemed choppy. I can't tell if I like that or not. Really my 9 is just because I find the clean parts odd without that hall. Also, it's not like its the greatest song ever. But I do like it! Good job.

Jakisdead responds:

Thanks for the review, and I'm glad you liked it on the whole!
I shall do something about that reverb because it's bothering me now too!
Aha I agree that it is not the greatest of songs. I'm happy enough with my sound to begin writing an album now but I'm really lost for direction, which is why my stuff is so experimental right now.

Thanks for the review!
